Tuning Into The God Channel

“This is what the Lord says—

the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:

Concerning things to come,

do you question me about my children,

or give me orders about the work of my hands?”

~Isaiah 45:11 (NIV).

Each of us can tap into the God Channel; indeed, each of us should. If we did it we’d quickly find critical information for living that would help us in our aspersions.

Life is not just about us as persons. God’s got a whole deal more to work out.

Resisting God

This is something we’ve all dabbled in. Questioning God about the things that happen in our lives, God has a certain compassion for, after all, God is “gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.” (Psalm 145:8 and elsewhere)

But, God too has limits so far as tolerance is concerned.

We cannot be blessed for continually disagreeing with God via the will of God’s hand—the way life deals with us. It does us no good to do this; we harm only ourselves as we estrange ourselves from ourselves—by resisting God.

Entering In

And, still, we’re blessed immediately as we venture into the heart of God—this channel that can be known and tuned into.

The more we enter in the more and more God infuses the spirit of wisdom and discernment into our lives—the Spirit speaking into our lives more continually, purposefully, and persuasively.

We are then willingly at one with God. This is the very nexus of life itself.

God Messages

God gives us good thoughts. These thoughts are godly—for God would not give us thoughts or ask us to do things that are immoral, and many are those.

God never tells us, for instance, to leave our marriage partner for another man or woman—God’s not like that. God cannot abide in sin, just as sin cannot abide in God.

Heavenly Benefits

God will give us clear messages for which to obey. When we habitually obey these and we’re at one with the heart of God’s will, we stand to be blessed—this is an ‘inside job’ more than anything else. It’s the blessing of God’s favour; we feel good because we know the superior wellbeing of God in these moments.

And when we put all these moments together to form a chain or establish a flow of obedient acts, many more good things of the Spirit come our way.

Reverting back to the opposite for a closing moment, let’s try never to fall for the enemy’s temptation in encouraging us to usurp God’s role as Almighty King.
