I have only just started to realise that forgiveness is not for those who hurt me, but for myself. I end to release the rage inside without harming others which is hard when I had no role model to follow. Yet as I have aged and grown beyond the lessons of my childhood, I have learnt that Christ has always been at my side. He was there with me as a child and saw what happened, He got me through it and then put angels in my path to help me heal. So it because of His example I try desperately not to inflict the damage left by others on those around me today. Has been a hard path, to be sure, and I fell many times but I always knew He would find a way through it for me, and He has always come through.<br />Thanks for helping me see what I still have left to learn.Carol Derrynoreply@blogger.com
